Camping, Take 2

We loaded up the car this weekend and headed to Morrow Mountain State Park for a one-night camping trip with our good friends.  Luckily, they have young crazy kids like we do, so we don't have to be (too) embarrassed when one of our kids throws a big rock that causes a large gash in the forehead of their little girl.  Darn that Tyler!  Overall, we had a great weekend and are trying to plan a two-nighter for later in the summer.

All the kids (except Graham) tested out the lake.  Of course, Tanner was in heaven too.

Graham is not a fan of water, but did like throwing the sand.

Tanner had a great time too.  He even got to sleep in the tent with us after getting spooked by some animal after we went to bed.  He dug himself a hole under a picnic table where he lounged for all of Sunday.  He was FILTHY.

These boys LOVE camping.  Tyler says his favorite part was the s'mores and the boat and Graham just says "I like camping."

Watching daddy get the fire all ready.  Good thing he was a boy scout.

S'mores time!  I think Graham ate about 10 marshmallows (not even cooked).

Time for a canoe ride!  Graham wasn't so sure at first, but at least he didn't freak out.

Tyler was so proud that he got to sit up front and paddle all by himself.

On our 0.8 mile hike.

The boys did great sleeping in the tent, until we were woken up at 6am by some crazy birds.

The boys had fun talking about "booty" and "poopy diapers" all weekend.
