Summer fun

It has been a VERY rainy summer in NC, but we've tried to do some fun things in between all the rain.  The boys are taking swim lessons, and even though Graham had some tears the first two times, he's finally given in and says that he likes it now.  Tyler is getting really good at swimming by himself and is such a good listener when his teachers teach him the right way to swim.

We spent a weekend camping with family, and we had the BEST time.  We had perfect weather, great sites, and the kids wore themselves out every day riding their bikes and playing in the woods.

Tyler started off the weekend insistent that he wear his safety gear, but was riding around with only his helmet by the end.  Cole and Lily taught him how to start off on his bike (a big relief for mommy, who always had to get him started) and how to stop.  They had the best time.  Poor Graham was left behind every time since his bike was a little slower, so he graduated to a new big boy bike (with training wheels) when we got home!

The boys went fishing for the first time, and caught SO many fish!  They absolutely loved it.

Everyone stayed up way too late, but that meant good sleeping in our tent at night!

The very serious bike rider.

Such a fun weekend that we hope we can repeat again soon!

We spent a weekend with the Kokoszka family with cousins Hailee and Carter.  The kids played nonstop outside!

These boys could spend all day on their bikes.  Makes this mommy and daddy happy to see them having so much fun.  I even took Tyler for a bike ride around the neighborhood for the first time.  He kept saying "this is amazing, I can't believe we're riding this far!"  It was pretty cute and I think opened his eyes up to how fun a bike can really be.  I don't think we'll be able to contain him on our street for long.
