Spring is here! We've been really busy enjoying the nice weather (and wishing that it would last through the whole summer...NC summers are not my favorite time of year). It's amazing how a little nice weather can put everyone in a good mood!
| We spent some time dying easter eggs with Gigi and Pops. It was much less messy than I anticipated! |
| We got Tyler some soccer goals for his birthday and spent all day outside one Saturday playing with them! Graham gets a little frustrated when he doesn't stop the ball from going in the goal, but he's got quite a foot on him when it comes to kicking. Maybe soccer will be his sport. |
| Tyler started t-ball! We've had a lot of the games rained out, but he's really enjoyed it while we're there. He really listens to his coaches and tries to do what they say. (2 innings is about all any of the kids can handle, though!) |
| Tyler is 5! He is so excited. He's still saying "mommy, I'm really glad I'm five now. When you're five, you can do anything." (Note the sweat on him. He sweats profusely anytime he does any kind of running around!) |
| We had his birthday party in the gymnastics room at one of the Ys in town. You can imagine the craziness with all these kids running around! They were all worn out afterwards. (Graham is not in this picture because he insisted on continuing to run around like a wild person while I took this picture.) |
| Superheroes are the top choice around here these days. |
| This is blurry, but it made me laugh! They were having races on these balls and Graham kept getting thrown up. |
| We spent last weekend in Chapel Hill. Adam and I ran a 10 mile race through campus, and the boys got to spend the weekend being crazy with their friends Jake and Jill. The boys love the Tar Heels and know they have to study hard to go there one day. Hopefully they will not forget that as the years go by! |
| We took the boys to the UNC baseball game on Sunday afternoon. They loved it!! Tyler really gets into keeping score and making sure that "the bad team" doesn't win. |
| This was at Tyler's 5 year checkup. He thought he was such a big boy since he got to wear the gown. (We had to make sure that it was NOT a dress since dresses and pink and anything remotely related to being a girl are "disgusting.") |
The boys love looking for bugs! They are really good at finding worms and ants, and even some spiders. Graham is NOT a fan of flying bugs, but we're trying to work on that. Last week he wouldn't touch any bug, but this week he has moved on to holding worms.
