February was pretty quiet here, but March is shaping up to be a great month...
- We visited Aunt Sherry and Uncle Chris in Richmond. Unfortunately, we hit stopped traffic on the way up the first time we tried to go. It took us 4 1/2 hours to make it an hour from our house, and there was no end in sight to the traffic. We decided to turn around and try again the next morning! Luckily, we made it without problem that day and we all had a really good time. We did a lot of playing outside and the kids were worn out after the quick weekend trip!
| Of course there was some iPad playing (the boys' current favorite game - Temple Run 2) |
| Tyler loved playing street hockey with Cole. This may be his birthday gift this year! |
| We went on a picnic at an awesome park. |

Cousins!

- Our old house is under contract! We moved about 2 1/2 years ago and have been renting our other house out since then. We decided to finally try to get rid of it this year since the market sees to be a little better. Well, it was on the market for only three days and we got an offer. We have been so stressed about the unknown amount of time we'd be paying two house payments, so we really could not have gotten luckier. Now we can focus on fixing up the house we're currently living in! (Adam tells me to be patient, but of course I want to do everything NOW!)
- We took a trip to the Columbia zoo. This is the third time we've gone, but this year was nice because both boys were old enough to walk without a stroller, ride all the rides, and really enjoy it. We had a great day.
| Last year, Graham wanted nothing to do with the giraffes. This year, he loved feeding them! |
| The benefit of having days off during the week - it was not busy at all and the boys got to ride the train a few times. |
| Graham's first time riding a pony. He loved it! |
| Tyler is an old pro now. |
| Graham was brave enough to ride on the carousel this year too. Such a cutie. |
| The boys' "silly faces" at the end of the day. |
- Graham is FINALLY starting to eat food other than carbs and fruit. He actually asked for broccoli for dinner the other tonight, he loves grilled chicken, and actually ate flank steak and quinoa for dinner tonight. (Tyler has always been an awesome eater.) We're glad to know that he will not live on fruit for the rest of his life.
- Adam got a real saw, and is putting it to good use. We had a terrible, 80s-looking wet bar in our living room. We have hated that thing since we moved into this house. One Sunday afternoon, we finally decided to do something about it.

| Before... |

| And after! We kept the cabinets on the bottom and just painted them. He built the rest of the shelves. This is a time when it pays to have a perfectionist husband! It really looks SO much better. Now I'm figuring out all kinds of things that he can build me! |
