Being a Mom

Adam worked on Mother's Day, so I got to spend the day with my two favorite boys.  We visited Daddy at work, played in the rain, and got barbecue for dinner.  They were actually really good and I ended the day so thankful that I'm their mommy.  I did ask Tyler a few questions about mommies (which I took from another blog).  Some of his answers made me laugh!

Me: What does being a mom mean?
Tyler: It means being a mother.  And not being a daddy.  (Okay, pretty straightforward.)

Me: How many kids do moms have?
Tyler: Seven.  (Hmmm, apparently he knows something I don't.)

Me: Does mommy have a job?
Tyler: You take care of the sick kids and make them better.  (This is true!)

Me: Do mommies get money for their work?
Tyler: Yes, $100. (It's a good thing I do make a little bit more than that.)

Me: What do moms like to cook?
Tyler: Food, like broccoli and tortellini.  (At least he didn't just say peanut butter and jelly!)

Me: What is your favorite thing that mommy does for you?
Tyler: I like when you help me and play with me.  I like to play transformers and wrestle.  (I think he may be getting me confused with daddy on the transformers and wrestling thing, but that's okay.)

Me: Are mommies mean or nice?
Tyler: Nice.  (Good answer!)

Me: Is mommy young or old?
Tyler: Old.

Me: How old?
Tyler: 33.  (True!  He has a great memory.)

Me: If you could give mommy a gift, what would it be?
Tyler: Girl things.  Like princesses or pink things.  (Not really my choice of a gift, but I would take it.)
I don't know why this picture looks like this, but you can still see how cute they are playing at daddy's work.

The card Tyler made me.  He's growing up too fast!
