Another Month?

I started this blog with hopes of updating it every few days.  Seeing as how my last post was about a month ago, this has not happened.  I have two little people who keep this from happening.  (And let's face it, I also have multiple reality tv shows that keep me busy even when the boys are asleep!)  So here is a recap of the last month....
We've been trying to make the most of summertime and trying to survive the heat.  Let's hope that fall comes SOON!
Graham is sometimes a little bit whiny for this mommy's taste, but he's so cute when he's happy, so I can't be annoyed with him for too long.
T-pa came for a visit and we made our second trip to Discovery Place Kids.  What a great place-the boys could stay there all day long.
Tyler got a new scooter.  He's only had one minor injury from it so far.  Graham also tries to ride it, which makes me a tad bit nervous!
We took a trip to Lazy Five Ranch.  These birds were the cause of a lot of torture for our kids, but a lot of laughs for us.  The boys were terrified!  There was a lot of screaming going on, but Tyler swore he still had fun.
 Birds on Tyler's side.
Some kind of animal on Graham's side.  He would scream hysterically, then go right back to a very calm, straight-faced look.  It was hilarious.
We took a trip to Asheville so daddy could do his first olympic-distance triathlon.  He did not win it, but at least he didn't come in last place either!  We are all very proud of him and all his hard work.  We also got a really fun weekend in Asheville out of it!
We said goodbye to some really great friends, and one of Tyler's favorite friend.  (Well, you'd never know it by all the fighting they do, but they do love playing with each other.)  Now we'll just have to find a way to get to Chapel Hill more often!
Tyler and Mackenna had their first sleepover.  They had such a great time playing, staying up late, and even sleeping in the same room.
Lots of wrestling in the playroom.
They went to bed and we didn't hear a peep after that!  Can't believe they slept in the same room and they weren't jumping off the bed or tackling each other in the middle of the night.
