We biked along the greenway, with Tyler yelling at daddy that we were going to beat him. I wonder where he gets this love for speed from??? Good thing mommy is his driver. The trail goes along a creek, through parks and neighborhoods, and ends up near a Monkey Joe's. This time we didn't go to Monkey Joe's, but we may have to figure out how to get there next time without having to take the boys on a main road. We came back through the park and let the boys run around for a while before we headed all the way back. The bike ride was not long enough or strenuous enough for me to really consider it a workout, but it was enough to make me not feel quite as guilty for eating my breakfast sandwich and part of Tyler's cinnamon roll that he didn't eat.
We finished off the day with some swimming and hanging out with good friends. Tyler got to stay up way too late, but it's summertime, right? (And don't worry, he still woke up at the same time and chose to wake me up then too. Maybe we'll both have a good nap later.)
Tyler couldn't even really open his left eye, but he still insisted on keeping the goggles on. He likes to be like daddy. (He keeps saying he wants to swim in a lake like daddy too.)
Graham got tired of the water pretty quickly, but this popsicle kept him occupied for a while.
