We made it through our camping weekend, and we're all still alive. It was COLD at night, but we managed to stay warm with our awesome sleeping bags. I knew the boys wouldn't stay in their's, so I brought a big down comforter and put a couple layers of pajamas on them and they were fine. I think they may have actually gotten a little hot in the middle of the night. (I could tell as Tyler was throwing the blanket off and hit me in the face a few times.) The colors were beautiful, and we had a nice campsite with plenty of room for the boys (and Tanner) to run around. I would have
never guessed that I'd be one to like camping so much, but we all have such a good time with it.

| Tyler and Graham were actually really good for the whole weekend. They were having a little too much fun in the tent when they were supposed to be going to sleep (way past their bedtime anyway), and I may have told them that bears would come get them if they were too loud. Great parenting. |
| Gigi and Pops stopped by for dinner and marshmallow roasting. Adam and Ed are discussing the important things in life. |
| The road going past our site made for a great racetrack. Somehow Tyler always won. |
| This crazy ran around A LOT. |
| Taking a break reading his comic book that came with a past Chick-Fil-A kids meal. He is obsessed with these and knows all the different cows by name. |
| Crazy Kokoszkas. |
| Making smores with Gigi and Pops. |
| Even Tanner got to join in on the fun. He preferred to stay hidden under the picnic table. And lucky for him, he even cooperates with the camera timer too! |
| Big boy trying his hardest to give me a good smile. |
| Our attempt at fishing. Adam and I didn't even know how exactly to put the bobber on the line. These boys didn't care though. They had a blast just dropping the line into the water and reeling it in. I don't even think they realize they're supposed to really catch something! |
| Tanner was my most cooperative camera model for the weekend. He may have bought himself another trip. |
| Another self-timer picture. Yes, I'm the only one who wanted to do it. They'll all thank me for all these pictures later. |
| This was on our "hike." Graham said "going for a hike" was his favorite part of camping. That was probably because he got to ride in the backpack for a majority of it! Just for the record, Tyler said his favorite part was sleeping in a tent and drinking hot chocolate with colorful marshmallows (his words). |
| Graham spent a lot of time on the potty. He did not have any accidents, but had to try about 4 times for each time he actually went. The highlight of the trip was "a really big poop" as we were about to leave. Finally. |
| Our last morning. Luckily, the boys didn't complain once about it being cold and loved wearing their gloves and hats. |
| The blue ridge parkway. A beautiful weekend to be in Asheville! |
so glad I checked your blog...I haven't been here for a while. LOVED all the pictures. Looks so pretty but oh so cold. we'll do some camping in the spring for sure.
