Fall is Here!

Fall is my favorite time of year, by far.  The boys are enjoying it too!  We've been playing outside a lot and are finally past arguing about wearing long sleeve shirts to school.  (I don't know why Tyler has such strong opinions about what he wears.  I wish he would let me put him in a polo or a nice button-down shirt every now and then instead of these character shirts that he always picks out.)  We've been busy getting ready for Halloween, which should be pretty fun.  Tyler decided he wanted to be a tyranosaurus rex.  After he decided that, he turned to Graham and said "Grahammy, do you want to be a t-rex too?"  And Graham, just like he does almost anytime anyone asks him a question, nodded his head.  Then Tyler turns to me and says "mommy, Grahammy said he wants to be a t-rex too."  So the decision was made.

We went out to a pumpkin patch yesterday, and it turned out to be so much more than just a pumpkin patch.  They had hayrides, animal petting, a corn maze, food, and these huge haystacks that you could run on.  Graham was not feeling the greatest, but he started to have fun towards the end.  I did not get my perfect kids with pumpkin pictures, but we at least got some cute ones.

Graham finally woke up and of course wanted to run.  They were chasing each other up and down this ramp, and of course Graham managed to fall down and hit his head.

Tyler will finally smile for pictures when I ask him to.  They're not the most natural smiles, but they're better than him yelling at me to stop taking pictures!  I told him he needed to keep his eyes a little more open when he smiles.
So of course this is what I got when I told him to keep his eyes open.

When did he get to be such a big boy?
